Apples are Oranges cannot be compared, just because, they are fruits. I am no die-hard Rajini or kamal fan, but I do think a few of your comments were over- exaggerated. Kamal is one guy who seldom cares about the grossing ability of his films. It is a known fact that Mumbai express could never beat Chandramukhi's sales, yet they released on the same day, and as expected ME bombed... Simple point is.. Rajini's charming mannerisms and style, kamal doesnt have... And in no way, does Rajini have kamal's script writing abilities- irrespective of movie success( Baba and Valli are satchi, other rajini movies, he dint write the script).. In some way, both are legends in their own right.
